Our worship theme for Advent comes from Jesus’ call in Luke 21:36 to stay awake, part of a passage that is often read during Advent. Each week we’ll pair that call with a specific quality we can be open to in our daily lives, taken from the United Methodist pastor Tyler Sit’s book Staying Awake: The Gospel for Changemakers.
