TEACHING MISSION WORK THROUGH HEIFER INTERNATIONAL

This month our Young Disciples time during worship will teach about the mission work of Heifer International in a hands on way. Each family will receive a special Heifer calendar and coin collection box; the idea is to connect what we are doing on Sunday with home faith exploration by reading the calendar together and following the prompts for collecting coins. At the month’s end, the children will decide together on how best to support a family, helping lift them out of poverty with the purchase of an animal through Heifer.
