Unconditional Love and Grace

This garden is a celebration of unconditional love and grace and a symbol of the commitment we have as a Reconciling Church.  The colorful plants reflect our mission statement to sow seeds of grace, love and joy.

Scripture & Prayer

At FUMC Westfield, we seek to love God and love everyone. We commit to follow Jesus in word and action. We care for our community and congregation by sowing seeds of grace, love and joy.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35

God of reconciliation and healing, you have joined us to one another in love.  How good and pleasant it is when we dwell together in unity and see all persons are of sacred worth. Provide the gift or your grace, heal our hearts, restore our trust and build our human community. Give us comfort in knowing we are not alone and are stronger when we stand in solidarity with all who are marginalized and oppressed. Amen.
